A n g e l i c a   G i g a s : She's a beauty!

 

      

 

 

Angelica Gigas is purported to be a biennial.  I made a point of planting a new plant beside it last weekend.  My hope is that they will bloom in alternating years.  I've also heard that if I remove the flower before it goes to seed, the lovely Angelica Gigas will flower like a perennial.  Might as well give that a try.  If it fails, I have a baby waiting to show off next year.
